Pixel Heart

This tutorial was written using PSP 9 and presumes you have a little knowledge of psp.
Im pretty sure this can be done in other versions of psp also.

You will need the following supplies :-
Paint Shop Pro. You can download a trial version here

I wrote this tutorial because sometimes its hard to understand some pixel tutorials out there.
This I hope will make all pixel tuts you follow easier to understand.

Lets get started.

Open a new image 200 x 200, this is much larger than we actually need but we can always crop it at the end.
Now we have to add the grid (this makes it so much easier to work out the pixels). Click on View and then grid as in the screenshot.

Then again click on view and this time click on change grid, guide and snap properties (highlighted in the screenshot above) and use these settings. You have changed the settings to one, if you prefer a darker grid you can change the colours where I have shown.

Now zoom in till you get to 800% (this makes it so much easier to work with pixels). There are many ways to zoom in, click on the magnifying glass in your tools
and then type in 800% as in the screenshot.

Now you should have a small squared grid on your work.
Each of the small squares now will represent a pixel. This screenshot shows you what I mean. (I hope lol)

Now set your paintbrush at the same settings as I have in my screenshot.

That would be your basic start for any pixel tutorial you wish to follow. Now we will start the heart.
You will see that I have used to different colours on my heart this is to make it easier for you to see how many pixels we use.
Now when you hover over your work you will see that your paintbrush will fit perfectly into one of the grid squares. If you click in a square it will fill that square with colour that is 1 pixel.
Each click is a pixel, when you see the numbers on a pixel tutorial that is how many clicks in a row you need to do. Follow this first part of the heart in the screenshot.

Now we do 3 single clicks (1 pixel each click) Diagonally down each side as in this next screenshot.

Now follow the rest of the heart pattern as in the next screenshot.

Now you should have the outline of your heart fully finished, click on your magic wand and click in the centre of your heart.
Flood fill with colour. Go back to your zoom tool (maginfying glass) and change it back to 100% you should now have a little pixel heart as in this next screenshot.

Now you can save this as a tube and add it to anything your heart desires lol.
Now crop to size and thats it.

Thats it hope you enjoyed this tutorial. Thank you for trying it.
